Chinese Lattice, or Black and White Cobbles

Showing 2 patterns in Black and White cobblestone.

A close-up view of a black and white cobblestone pattern, showcasing linear curves made from rectangular cobbles with well-defined edges and a consistent surface finish.

These are rectangular cobbles finished with shot-blasting. Edges are well-defined. And the surface is finished to a consistent level.

Here’s the second pattern in contrast to the above one.

Circular pattern of black and white cobblestones arranged in concentric circles, showcasing well-defined edges and a smooth surface.

Yessss, creating Chinese Lattice with cobblestone is doable. And doesn’t that look amazing! The first one is linear long curves. The second one is angular and intricate.

Does your project have the space, the imagination and the hands to for such beautiful patterns?

Robot-age Cobbles

Do they look like robot-age cobbles? 😀

We can credit the person who took this picture.

A close-up view of newly installed Kota Stone cobbles, showcasing their classic colors and machine-cut edges, with a partially filled orange bucket visible in the foreground.

These aren’t black, in case that’s how the pic shows to your eyes.

These are the classic ever-pleasing colors of Kota Stone cobbles. Machine-cut edges. And very good quality natural-feeling surface finish done at K. K. Stones Ahmedabad.

Would be interesting to see when the work gets over.

Do you have a project and an expanse that would look great with such cobbles? Do let us know.

Blackberry Sheen

Not much to write about.

These black pebbles are so well-contoured and rounded and finished they give off a sheen like actual blackberries. Do you see or feel the same looking at these pictures?

The Patterns of Matrix Marble

Time to share glimpses of Matrix Grey-Black  Marble.

Close-up view of Matrix Grey-Black Marble, showcasing its deep colors and bold patterns.

A large slab of Matrix Grey-Black Marble with deep textures and bold patterns, displayed indoors.

A large slab of Matrix Grey-Black Marble with deep colors and bold patterns, displayed in a warehouse setting.

These are large slabs and meant for large spaces. The deep colors and bold patterns of the marble also demand good space.

Is there a big-space that you are working on?

Almost feels like 3D. Has to be given space to enjoy its beauty.

One might ask, what if we want to use this in small spaces? In which case we would say that you need to figure and determine the color-palette for your space, especially indoors. Then you may be able to make great use of this marble.

We will write a bit more on Color Palette for your projects as time goes by.

Basalt Clad on Bungalow Walls

Received this picture of work-in-progress at a bungalow in Jamnagar. Black Basalt for wall-cladding!

Would be interesting to see how it looks when all the work’s done.

Have you used black basalt stone in any of your projects? What’s been your experience?

Black Flowers!

Natural Stone, in its default shape and condition, is a product of ‘creativity’. We do certain things to make it suitable for our purposes like landscaping, indoor flooring, paving et al. But this is something else.l, have a look.

Black Kadappah Stone in a floral form, modular pattern cutting for outdoor or semi-outdoor flooring. Impressive? We like it.

Black Kadappah Stone in a floral pattern, arranged for outdoor or semi-outdoor flooring, set on a green lawn.

When are we going to agree on one sacred for Kadappah? Earlier it used to be Cudappah and on the picture it is Kadapa! All are the same, in case you write in for inquiry.

Have a look at another picture below.

Black and Spotted

Dear Landscaper, once you floor your space like this, do you think there’s a chance folks visiting and walking through such spaces will ever get bored?

You place any object, any furniture, any insane color and this floor will make everything feel in place. No joke!

Enduring Black Beauty, if you can call it that! 🙂

Got a project going where you have space for such flooring?
